As we approach the spring market, which typically begins in March the number of homes for sale is at its all time low. As of January 2013 according to the National Ass. of Realtors the number of homes on the market is at its lowest level since 1999. In some areas and price points the housing market is becoming a “sellers market”. If you have been waiting to sell your home, this spring may be the time to list. More buyers and less properties for sale are forcing the prices to rise. Nation wide the median priced home has risen 12.3% from one year ago, as reported in Wall Street Journal dated 2.22.13.
